10_GuessWhichConstellation_1.jpg Pentax Spotmatic 2 50mm f/2 12s Gas-hypered Fuji 400 film (then scanned).br/ March 1986. This is one of my most prized images, as simple as it is, just on a tripod. Despite it showing the entire constellation and it being one of the most famous ones, visible from North America, most amateurs can't identify it without hints. The reason is that it was shot from Australia, so instead of being 15 degrees above the horizon and partially lost in atmosphere, it was overhead - Canis Major.
