strongMessier 44, M44, NGC 2632, Cr 189, Mel 88, Beehive Cluster ndash; Praesepe-Manger /strongbr/Another Messier target I have observed for my observing certificate. I looked up targets to shoot in early March and the Beehive seemed a good choice. In images by others it had a lovely, colourful field of stars.br/M44 is located in the constellation Cancer and is fairly close to Earth at a distance of 577ly. I dabbled with diffraction spikes on this image. Reminded me a little of my views through my classic dob. I know not everyonersquo;s taste but I LOVE THEM.
