The Ring Nebula, Imaged September 27, 2017: twenty seven mainly 3 minute subs, 75 minutes total exposure, with the Tak and the 1.6x focal extender, Mallincam Universe, and IR/UV cut filter. Processed using Deep Sky Stacker, Startools, and finished off with Photopad.br/This is one object that is really transformed by imaging. In the eyepiece is looks like a grey little cheerio. Interesting, of course. But it takes a camera to make it truly captivating.
