05 Saturn with 6 moons labelled
On an exceptionally clear and transparent night on July 4, 2018, I was fortunate to image Saturn and 6 of its moons. In this picture, the Cassini division is sharply defined and several cloud belts are visible. The large moons Titan and Rhea are bright and the smaller moons are also visible, including Iapetus.
The image was taken with an 8inch SCT, a ZWO ADC and a ZWO ASI224mc camera. The image is a 20% stack with the video first stacked in AutoStakkert!3, then further processed in Registax and Photoshop.
