Taken on May 1, 2020, this image shows our closest neighbour Venus in Infrared. Venus is in crescent form as the sunlight illuminates its hazy atmosphere. The image was taken with an 8inch SCT, a ZWO ADC, ZWO ASI224mc camera, a 2.5 Televue Powermate and a 685nm IR Pass filter. The image is a 20% stack with the video first stacked in AutoStakkert!3, with further processing done in Registax and Photoshop.
