Location: from the ice ~50m south of dock (out where I could see Polaris to polar align the barn door tracker) near my residence near Elgin, ONbr/Time and date: 2013-02-09 18:55ESTbr/Equipment and settings: Canon 30D @ ISO800, Canon 10-22mm f/3.5-4 lens at 10mm f/4.5, 255s exposure on barn door tracking.br/Planning: had to balance needing to do an exposure long enough to catch the whole pass against overexposing the sky.br/Problems: nonebr/Ambience: lovely mag 1 meteor swept slowly through Gemini while out on the ice shooting other pictures.
