strongThe Lagoon and Trifid Nebulae (M8 amp; M20)/strongbr/The Lagoon and Trifid nebulae from my backyard in London ON. This nebula duo is very beautiful and I love that I can fit both targets into one field of view. I really enjoy the depth of the lagoon and the dark regions in both it and the trifid. This image is a stack of 450 x 30s subs (3h 45 min total) gathered using a Skywatcher Evostar 72ed with 1.0 field flattener on a Star Adventurer 2i mount with a Canon t6i (stock) DSLR camera at iso 800. The camera was controlled with an intervelometer. Individual subs were stacked in Deep Sky Stacker and the final image was stretched and processed in Photoshop.
