11 Dark Nebulae Surronding NGC 7023 Iris

Gazing into the Iris Nebulabr/ NGC 7023 / LBN 487 is an open star cluster within the larger Reflection Nebula known as the Iris Nebula which is surrounded by dark nebulosity of intersteller dust, all within the constellation Cepheus. The blue and magenta Iris Nebula is illuminated by a bright star (SAO 19158). I have heard many Southern Hemisphere imagers remark that they wish that they could image this stunning target. Since I live in the Northern Hemisphere, I had to check it out.br/ Acquisition Details: Sky-Watcher EQ6-R Pro, Esprit 100ED, ASI2600MM Pro, ASI120MM (Guide camera), ASIAIR-Pro, ZWO EAF, Astronomik L, R, G, B filters, 120 second subs at Gain 100.
