This image shows the galactic core of the Milky Way between Jupiter on the right and Saturn on the upper left. Dust lanes, the Lagoon and Trifid Nebulas, open clusters M6 and M7 and globular cluster M4 are all visible.
This picture was taken just north of Sauble Beach, ON on Aug 4, 2019. The sky is a single, 64 sec shot taken with a Canon T5i and 50m lens mounted on an iOptron tracking mount. The camera was set to ISO 3200 and the lens was set at f2.8. A single foreground shot was composited in during processing in Photoshop.
