06 ISS Flyby

06 ISS Flyby

This image is a composite of an International Space Flyby on April 16, 2016. The orientation of the ISS changes subtly as it moves in this sequence while the Columbus module begins to flare at the top right as the angle to the Sun changes.
For this image, the ISS was manually tracked using an 8-inch SCT fitted with a Canon T5i camera at prime focus. The camera was set to ISO 3200 and with a shutter speed of 1/1250 to freeze the rapid motion of the space station. Images were processed and combined in Photoshop.
