C63 Helix Nebula
This nebula is fairly low in the south and very faint, although it is quite large. This was taken from a cottage lawn with an excellent view to the south over a lake. It is delightful to spend a late summer evening watching the stars and Milky Way cycle overhead, especially if it's cool enough to keep the bugs away.br/ Date: 2021-09-02 and 2020-08-20br/ Location: Ardoch, North Frontenac, ONbr/ Equipment: Z73 + M100, unguidedbr/ Settings: 30s ISO6400 and ISO1600, stack of 56 lights, 30 darks at ISO6400 plus 39 lights and 115 darks at ISO1600 with flats and dark flats in Sequator.br/ Processing: PixInsight and Photoshop Elements to adjust background, levels, noise and colours.
