This is a typical summertime view of the Milky Way from a campsite in the dark-sky core of Keji DSP in Nova Scotia. To reach this place, we must paddle a canoe. We travel to thesebr/ viewpoints 3 to 4 times every year. To the Mirsquo;kmaq who once inhabited these parts, the Milky Way is the Spirit Road, carrying departed souls to the spirit world.
