From my home, I have a poor western horizon, so to snag Mercury in the evening requires travelling to a better location, in this case the eastern shore of Lake Micmac, which is abr/ municipal park. I usually wait until there are other objects of interest, in this case Venus and the crescent Moon (with Earthshine). This image could have satisfied 4 requirements of the wide-field astro-imaging certificate!
