The partial eclipse was not visible in the southern part of Michigan, so I took the drive in the morning to capture the rising sun in the thumb area of Michigan, which was just north enough to see the eclipsed sun visibly. This particular shot of the crescent sun popping out of the clouds gives the impression that 'something's different about the sun!' I wondered if the animals actually noticed something different. Their behaviours didn't seem to change much from any other sunrise.
