Milky Way With Meteor

Milky Way With Meteor

ISO 6400, 17mm, f/2.8, 20 secondsbr/ Canon 6Dbr/ Tamron 17-35 f/2.8-f/4.0 Lensbr/ Location: Lake Hudson Dark Sky Preserve, Clayton, MI.br/ Captured July 24, 2019br/ Prior to capturing this image, I took an image of the Cygnus region. A meteor shot right below my frame. Frustrated, I went ahead and turned back to the Milky Way Core. While the camera was rolling, another imager next to me says 'hey did you see that meteor?!' I asked 'Where was it?' and I hear a click from my camera that signals the end of the exposure. He points in the direction I'm shooting, and when I look at the back of my screen, I notice that I had a streaking meteor in the image. So I caught one after all!
