In this shot I wanted to create the dark, moody-looking image with deep reds as the sunset. I don't recall if we had smoke in our atmosphere at the time, but the lowered settings and brightness of the sun conspired to get the nice low brightness and reds that I wanted. It's a tranquil scene over Lake Michigan.
