M4 NGC 6121 is a globular cluster in Scorpiusbr/Images taken at Poverty Flats BLM north of Las Vegas south of Mesquite Nevada Feb of 2020br/ It is a 2 part image for showing to our group of astrophotographers in Albertabr/Part 2br/M4 itselfbr/10a-Globular Cluster M4br/Taken with a QSI540wsg thru a flawed TV101is on a CGX mountbr/ 4 600 sec LRGB at 600 sec eachbr/This shows the background nebulosity around M4. Most images show a very dark background. I wanted to show our little group of astrophotographers here at home to be wary of processingbr/ Backgrounds are not normally quot;blackquot;br/Background on the Televue 101br/ I was down in Rodeo NM setup and the wind gusts blew over the scopebr/ I did not know it at the time but it threw out the collimation. I had to send it back to Televue to get fixed. It is now fixed and working well. I now anchor all my mounts in the field with tiedown straps
