This is a dark nebula in the constellation Cepheus. Also nicknamed the Seahorse. Imaged January 18, 2018. br/br/ Twenty-seven 3-minute subs, using a Mallincam Universe and a Takahashi FS 102 with focal reduction. Processed using Deep Sky Stacker and StarTools, and finished off with Photopad. Processing this was a challenge, to the point that I just had to leave it in the vault for a few months, to get back my perspective and judgment. br/ br/Most images of dark nebulae seem to be very wide field and distant, but I wanted to get up close and personal with this one.
