M57 aka The Ring Nebula

This was discovered by Charles Messier. When I started out rediscovering astronomy, this was one of the first things that I was able to see through my new telescope. Really cool to see through the eyepiece. I wish that there was a documentary about Charles Messier, it would be interesting to see his story discovering so many objects when he was just trying to find comets. He compiled a list of so many things that were not comets.br/ Imaging telescope / lensbr/ Celestron Cassegrain 203/2032 mm EdgeHD8br/ Imaging camerabr/ ZWO Optical ASI 1600 MM Pro (CMOS)br/ Mountbr/ Equatorial Losmandy GM811Gbr/ Guiding telescope / lensbr/ Astromania Refractor 60/240 mm Astromania 60br/ Guiding camerabr/ ZWO Optical ASI 178 MC (CMOS)br/ Filters:br/ Baader Planetarium H-alpha (Narrowband Hydrogen Alpha) 2.00quot;br/ Baader Planetarium OIII (Narrowband Oxygen 3) 2.00quot;br/ Baader Planetarium SII (Narrowband Sulfur 2) 2.00quot;br/ Accessoriesbr/ Focal reducer Celestron 0.7br/ Processed withbr/ PixInsight (Pleiades Astrophoto) 73.0.3683.10br/ Lights (filter H-alpha)44 x 180 secbr/ Lights (filter OIII)22 x 180 secbr/ Lights (filter SII)22 x 180 secbr/ Total lights integration time 4:24 hours
