Barnard's Dark Nebulae in Cepheus

* Date: July 29, 2022
* Location: Stellafane, Springfield, VT (Bortle 4)
* Equipment:
* Lens: Askar ACL 200 @ f/4
* Main Camera: Nikon D5500
* Tracker: SkyWatcher Star Adventurer, unguided
* Settings: exp. 30 sec., ISO 6400
* Steps taken for picture, I was trying for the Elephant trunk Nebula and missed the mark, but still really pleased with this image and the variety of dark nebula, spent some time researching the FOV and found I had captured several from Barnard’s Catalog, the most prominent is the oval shaped feature, made up of B169, B170 and B171. B368 is the small U shaped patch between the Mu Cephei and the oval. B174 is visible below the oval, and although quite subtle, B173 to the left of that. B366 is a dark patch to the left of Mu Cephei and the dark vertical line just below that is comprised of B165, B166 and B167.
