Dorothy, Alberta 2019-08-05 3:10am br/Canon 5DMII with Irix 15mm prime lens f/2.5, 2sec, ISO2000 br/Surprise summer aurora. A group of us were deep space imaging from a dark sky campground when the aurora lit up the sky. I few of us gave up with the telescopes and grabbed our wide angle gear. The show was impressive and lasted about an hour. You could hear a crackle as the aurora danced directly above us.
