Handhills, Alberta br/2020-07-20 1:25am to 1:35am br/Canon EOSR with Canon 24mm prime f/1.8, 15sec, ISO1000 br/I planned out the location and orientation during daylight hours. When I arrived at location at 1:15am, I realized I had the wrong lens. I was not able to capture the Big Dipper and the reflection of the Big Dipper with my 24mm prime lens. I did not want to miss the shot as I could see the clouds building on the horizon. I improvised and did a 5 panel vertical pano to capture the scene. To reduce the noise I did 8 exposures of each of the 5 panels. A total of 40 * 15 second exposures. I was delighted with the final image. Both Neowise and the Big Dipper reflected perfectly off the still pond water.
