06 Mercury

Mossleigh, Alberta br/2021-01-10 5:31pm br/Canon EOSR with 70-200mm lens @ 200mm f/8, 1/30sec, ISO400 br/My original plan was to capture the triple conjunction over the mountains west of Calgary. Again the weather was moving in from the west and the mountains were socked in. I headed back to Mossleigh trying to out drive the storm. I arrived before the clouds arrived! I imaged for about 30 minutes after twilight. I could see Jupiter and Mercury naked eye but could not spot Saturn. I used my SkyView app on my cell phone to determine approximately where Saturn was located. I fired away hoping I got Saturn in the composition. Thankfully when I got home and pulled the images up on the big scene I should see Saturn.
