Messier 33 - The Triangulum Galaxy

Messier 33 - The Triangulum Galaxy

Messier 33, also referred to as the Triangulum Galaxy, is a spiral galaxy appearing in the Triangulum constellation from which it gets its monicker. M33 is about 2.73 million lightyears away from earth, and is the third largest member of our local group of galaxies (and the smallest spiral within it as well).
It's interesting to note that this galaxy can be seen naked eye under very dark skies with exceptional transparency.
This image was taken using a ZWO ASI2400MC Pro through an 11" Celestron EdgeHD at F7 atop an iOptron CEM70 on the night of October 24th, 2022. It's made up of 114x 180s sub exposures, for a total integration of 5h42m.
This image was taken from my backyard observatory, just outside of the the village of White Lake, Ontario.
