LDN 1235 - The Dark Shark Nebula

The Dark Shark Nebula is a dark nebula in the constellation Cepheus about 650 lightyears away. It’s comprised of dark dust which is faint lit by the surrounding stars.
The small, yellowish spiral galaxy in the field is PGC67671 and is located about 58 million lightyears away roughly 88,000 times farther away than the foreground galaxy. the stark contrast in distances between the two objects in this field are what I find most interesting about it.
This image was taken the nights of September 29th and October 2nd, 2022. The image was taken through an 80mm Skywatcher Equinox 80ed refractor at F5, using an SBIG STC-7 mono camera atop an SkyWatcher HEQ5 Pro mount. 1h 36m in each red, blue and green, and 7h 36m in luminance for a total integration of 12h 24m. All subexposures at 180s.
This image was taken from my backyard observatory, just outside of the the village of White Lake, Ontario.
