Lunar Eclipse Nov 8 2022
We were very fortunate to have rare clear skies for the Lunar Eclipse Nov.8, 2022. I was up at 4:00am EST and thrilled to see the skies were cloudless. I took about 500 images from around 4:30am until 6:30am. The composite image highlights key differences through the eclipse cycle. Slight adjustments to the camera settings had to be made to account for changing light conditions as the light reflected from the moon changed. It was amazing to see stars start to ‘pop’ as the eclipse progressed! Uranus was also visible as the eclipse progressed.
