Location: upstairs deck at my residence near Elgin, ONbr/Time and date: 2013-06-03 evening to morning 20163-06-04br/Equipment and settings:Canon 30D at ISO 1600 with Canon 10-22 f/3.5-4 lens at 10mm f/4, 490 x 30s jpg exposuresbr/Planning: this is the result of an early attempt at an all night timelapse of the night skybr/Problems: because these images were shot to make a timelapse there are too many to handle manually so an addition script for Photoshop CS4 was developed to add all the images together for star trails; scripts were also written to create timelapses in which the star trails form gradually and in which the stars form comet-like short trails which move across the sky.br/Ambience: the night was quite dark and time was spent sitting in a deck chair nearby just watching the stars to by; needless to say I didn't supervise the camera throughout the whole night.
