2020 12 17, 16:30 Moon Jupiter and Saturn br/Pertinent details: 2020 12 17, 16:30, Carleton Place, ONbr/Interesting details: This is the second of the series all taken at 55mm for a direct comparison of the movement of Saturn and Jupiter as they approach the Conjunction on the 21st of December 2020. I set up this image to include the Crescent Moon in the image to help act as scale for the movement of the planets in the Sky. If you compare the crescent moon to the separation of Jupiter and Saturn they are practically identical in this image. If you compare this spacing to the previous image, the separation between planets is about 1.3x the crescent moon length. There is a small amount of visible movement between Saturn and Jupiter from the previous image. Taken 4 days before the Conjunction.br/Image detail: Canon T7i F4 55mm 200iso 1/30sec
