Sunset 18 Dec 2020 16:30br/20mm f4 100 1r2000 secbr/Carleton Place, ONbr/Interesting details: I walked to the end of my road to get the lowest horizon I could find in the immediate area and set up my tripod and camera. This was the 12th image of 36, I shot during the session and it was my favorite. It was the last image I took where a portion of the Sun is actually still in view between the building and the trees on the horizon. While I was taking this image I did not like the look of the foreground so I shortened the exposure to keep the foreground in shadow and focus on the Sun and the colours in the sky. This gave a nice effect that makes me feel like it is the full transition from day to night.
