This single image five minute exposure of the ISS crossing the Milky Way was planned three months in advance. The tracking mount allowed the camera to gather greater detail in the dust clouds in the galactic core as well as recording an uninterrupted trail of the ISS. The image was captured 45km east of Saskatoon near Canoe Lake. It was awarded First Place in the Wide Field Tracking category at the 2017 Saskatchewan Summer Star Party photo contest. A 44”x66” print hangs on the feature wall of my home office. May 27, 2017 00:42 CST. Fujifilm X-E2, Fujifilm 10-24mm 10mm f4 300 secs. 3200 iso Skywatcher Star Adventurer mount
