For an image of stars only, not many images can give a better display than the double cluster. The distinct concentration of two groups, both with contrasting star colours, make this a favourite of mine and a target I look forward to putting more time on in the future. Although, the bright stars of this cluster deserve to have diffraction spikes, so I may end up once again putting a cross of thread on the front of the scope to achieve this.
