May 2018. Trout Lake, BC. Photographing the milky way in the mountains is one of my favorite pursuits and Trout Lake easily approaches the top of my list for favorite dark sky locations. I will always remember this night well despite being under prepared to camp in a freezing cold tent in the mountains in early May. Shot with a Sony A7iii and 14MM Rokinon F2.8 manual lens. Stacked Image. Ten 30 second exposures at ISO 6400. No flats. No darks. No tracking.
