This image captures all the phases of the 2017 North America Solar Eclipse. The pictures were taken in Idaho, US on the side of the Teton Scenic Byway where a group of people had organically gathered to observe this incredible event.
A Canon T5i with a Nikkor 180mm f2.8 lens mounted on an iOptron tracking mount was used to capture the images. A white light filter was used for the non-totality phases. Bracketed exposures ranging from 1/4000 sec to 2 secs were used to capture all phases of the eclipse. The images were processed in Lightroom and Photoshop to produce the final composite.
