It was a perfect dawn, with a little haze on the western horizon that provides a sense of serentuy. Quite a few birds were active so I tried to shoot when I thought they might be in the frame. I find that birds in shots like this add a little life. Imaging during the dawn golden hour lends some warmth to the image too.
