NGC 6946 Fireworks Galaxy Arp 29 a spiral galaxy in Cygnusbr/Taken with an AsroTech 10quot; RC with a QSI540wsg camera on a Mesu 200 mount from my home observatory on 2014-10-21, off axis guided with a Lodestarbr/8 1200 sec Lum subs binned 1x1 8 600 sec RGB binned 2x2br/Learning if binning the color makes a difference. This is just one sample of what I have tried. I prefer not to bin but take all images to the same scalebr/ It means more imaging time but I prefer the results. What I have learned is to image to the mounts capabilities. Watch your histogram, if it is not off the left you have left data behind which will not process in after It did not capture itbr/ All mounts are not created equal, find the capability of your mount and image to itbr/ Longer subs usually give better results (target dependent)
