On March 20, 2021 (the spring equinox), Earth entered a stream of high-speed solar wind, which sparked a magnificent display of aurora borealis. This broad panorama shows the view outside of Edmonton, Alberta, at the height of auroral activity. I made this panorama from five stills, each captured using a Canon EOS 5DS and Sigma 20mm F1.4 DG HSM | A set to ISO 1600, ƒ/1.4, and 1.6 seconds. The panorama was stitched together and edited using Affinity Photo.
