In 2023, there were many forest fires across Canada. With the haze from the smoke blocking the light from the sun, it was possible to take an unfiltered picture of the sun while it was setting and capture sunspots. It was easy to see sunspot region 3310 and the cluster of regions 3313, 3311 and 3314.
