In March of 2016, my wife and I took a cruise organized by Sky and Telescope to see the solar eclipse in Indonesia. This was my third eclipse cruise and it was the most amazing adventure. The benefits of being on a cruise ship were demonstrated when we awoke to cloudy skys. The captain immediately fired up the engines and moved us to the best location identified from the latest satellite images.
