ldquo;Blue Moonriserdquo;br/This unprocessed image caught my attention as I was driving home on a summers evening. I had a camera but no tripod, so I pulled over to the side of the road and found a fence post that would substitute as a very sturdy monopod. I grabbed a few quick images and was very happy with the results. Not only is the twilight sky a nice rich colour, but the silhouetted elm trees and misty foreground field help draw you into the scene. I took the time to compose the shot, but lighting can change so fast, that you canrsquo;t hesitate.
