Crescent Moonbr/Pertinent details: 2019 Dec 24 07:02, Carleton Place, ON, br/Interesting details:I was just finishing a two hour session of observing and imaging a few constellations for a lesson for school. I had just packed up and was waking up the stairs into my house when I saw the moon over my neighboursrsquo; garage. I quickly set up my camera on the landing by my door to frame the moon with the trees, the garage roof and the quickly advancing clouds with the rising sun. I was very happy with the result. It is the composition that I like most about this image. The colours in the sky, the silhouettes of the different tress and the pitch of the roof all work to complement the waning crescent moon. The one thing that I wish I could improve would be change the aperture to bring more of the foreground, moon and clouds all into focus together, instead of focusing on the left hand tree.br/Image detail: Canon T7i f5.6 70mm 1600iso 1/15sec
