In 2017 I travelled to western Nebraska to observe the total solar eclipse. Withbr/ an 85 mm refractor I managed this unfiltered image of the sun and a couple of prominences. This was my first eclipse and can honestly recommend moving heaven and earth to see one. 1/2000 sec. 600 mm f/7 ISO 400
