Our local photography club was seeking an image for membership cards. I imagined a series of moon shots across the top one third of the card. I took 44 shots at 30 second intervals of a full moon rising under good seeing conditions. On stacking in StarstaX and viewing different sequences I chose a string of 12 using every third shot (giving a 90 second interval) as the most pleasing. The club members decided on a more iconic landscape image.
