M106

M106

M106 is such a large and bright galaxy with a unique second set of spiral arms, but it is the wider field of view for this image that caught my interest. The framing that includes additional galaxies with some form to them, and not just as faint fuzzies, paired with the coloured stars, is what makes this image a lot more special than the brilliant M106 on its own.
