This was taken just before dawn at 06:34 AST on October 9th, 2015.br/ It shows the star Regulus in Leo with Venus, the moon, Mars and Jupiter.br/ For reference, there is a screenshot of a Night Sky Simulator in the supplemental material folder (09 Two or more planets B).br/ This was the month of the great Triple Conjunction.br/ It was taken at the apex of the Northwest Arm, an inlet of the Atlantic Ocean, from Horseshoe Island in Halifax.br/ Memorial Tower (better known locally as Dingle Tower) built by Sir Sandford Fleming in 1912, can be distinguished on the right shoreline br/ The glow on the horizon is from the sun which is soon to rise.br/ I used my Canon EOS T1i to shoot at f/6.3 for 1.3quot; at ISO 400 at an 18 mm focal length for this wide angle shotbr/ The image was adjusted for exposure and contrast in Adobe Photoshop Express and resized to 1200 pixels wide. br/ Photoshop CS4 was used to remove two hot pixels from the aging APS-C camera
