Cassiopeia

Cassiopeia

Cassiopeia shot July 23, 23:28, Canon EOS RP at f/4.5, 5quot;, ISO 3200 and 35 mm FLbr/ This has always been one of my favourite constellations, since I got my first telescope as a young man.br/ It's easy to find, is readily seen during the warm summer months, and has two pretty clusters (M 103 and M 52)br/ The rightmost 3 stars also point the way to M 31br/ The galactic core of M31 is visible in this image so it's close to what one would see without aids on a good dark nightbr/ The image was cropped and resized in Adobe Photoshop Expressbr/ I have included in the supplemental material another image taken at a higher ISO which shows many more stars, one of the clusters and a better view of M31 (08 Cassiopeia B)
