The Green Comet

C/2022 e3 (ZTF) – comet
Like many people, this was my first attempt to capture and process a comet. The learning curve, like everything else in the hobby, was steep but worth it. Coincidentally, it was a comet that hooked me on astrophotography. Having been a casual visual observer in the past, it wasn’t until comet Neowise flew by in 2019 that I even thought of trying to take a picture of it. I grabbed my DSLR and kit zoom lens and put it on my wobbly tripod and took multiple single shots experimenting with different ISO’s and shutter speeds. Little did I know the rabbit hole I was about to fall into.
