04 Moon and a planet – I went over to the west side of Bells Point in Port Mouton to take a photo of the Moon and Venus. A friend there wanted to see if his spotting scope could see deep sky objects and so I agreed to help him find them if he let me onto his west facing lawn in order to take my photograph. Things worked out well for both of us. I purposely overexposed the shot in order to capture some earthshine, but it was not bright enough to capture detail on the Moon’s surface and still see detail in the foreground.
