Captured from a farmer's field on the East side of Ottawa (near Cyrville & Innes). This was the morning of the partial solar eclipse. My teenage daughter and I got up early and travelled to this location which I had confirmed weeks earlier had a good view to the eastern horizon. The event started with the Sun obscured behind clouds as it rose. This image is taken just as the Sun came into the open. With the solar filter on the camera it was difficult to find an exposure time that showed anything in the foreground without totally overexposing the Sun.
