Mars stacked

Mars stacked

The opposition of Mars in late 2020 was a great opportunity to get good images, but I was just beginning to learn how to take videos and stack the best frames. Many of my experiments didn't work (the purple Mars that resulted from leaving the camera's auto white balance operating was memorable) but I did get some good ones. This one shows the south polar cap and Sinus Meridiani just above center.
