Venus stacked

Venus stacked

Last year, Venus never appeared in the evening sky at a high altitude, so the seeing was always very poor. This spring, Venus is getting very high in the west around sunset, so it is finally possible to get a few minutes of observations from my back yard before it sets into the trees. I look forward to getting a sequence of pictures of the various phases, but here is one of my first attempts at stacking during the gibbous phase.
